Woodpecker is a Heating, Cooling and BBQ company with 2 retail stores and installation teams on the Mornington Peninsula. Our Finance Department is looking for an Accountant / HR Officer to become a key contributor to their team. This role will be best suited to someone who holds a finance degree and has previous accounting & HR experience. To be successful in this role you will need the ability to think strategically and set clear direction, you will have excellent problem solving capabilities and a strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and Human Resource functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of quarterly BAS reports, Monthly Payroll Tax and PAYG Statements.
  • Budgeting and Cash Flow forecasting.
  • End to end Payroll processing inclusive of Superannuation and HR requirements.
  • Monthly P&L analysis and reporting.
  • Preparation and reconciliation of fixed asset schedule.
  • Ongoing internal accounting functions as required on a daily basis.
  • Management reporting ┬áto the Finance Manager & CEO
  • Assistance to AR&AP department.

This role requires someone to have at least 3 year’s experience in a similar role. MYOB Accounting experience is essential. If this sounds like the perfect role for you, please APPLY NOW!
