Working closely with the Facility Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for the management of the admissions and waitlist for the residences and to manage the facilitation of tours. You will also be liaising with key stakeholders (hospitals, ACAT, social workers, medical practices and age care placement agencies) to assist in maximising bed occupancy. Key Selection Criteria
- Facilitating and organising admission paperwork.
- Providing smooth transition of admission process into the residence.
- Arranging communication between hospitals and residences to ensure adequate handover is received about the new admissions.
This is an ideal role for someone with a strong understanding of the aged care sector. As this is a non clinical role, candidates with a background in either nursing, quality, sales/marketing or an administrative function would be well aligned to the Services Managers position.
Strong customer services skills with the ability to deliver impeccable customer service is critical. The ability to develop and manage key stakeholders will ensure success in this highly important role.
In addition to a competitive salary circa $70,000 - $75,000 (+super & bonuses), you will joining one of aged cares best providers. This role will also provide you with strong career and personal development.
