This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly respected and growing aged care provider. This organisation is lead by an Executive team that is committed to quality and ensuring their employees are supported and empowered in their roles. Located in beautiful Phillip Island, this stunning facility provides a ranges of care services within a modern and homelike environment. The Role Working closely with the Facility Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for the management of the admissions and waitlist for the residences and to manage the facilitation of tours. You will also be liaising with key stakeholders (hospitals, ACAT, social workers, medical practices and age care placement agencies) to assist in maximising bed occupancy. You will also be required to assist in:
  • Facilitating and organising admission paperwork.
  • Providing smooth transition of admission process into the residence.
  • Arranging communication between hospitals and residences to ensure adequate handover is received about the new admissions.
Key Selection Criteria This is an ideal role for someone with a strong understanding of the aged care sector. As this is a non clinical role, candidates with a background in either nursing, quality, sales/marketing or an administrative function would be well aligned to the Services Managers position. Strong customer services skills with the ability to deliver impeccable customer service is critical. The ability to develop and manage key stakeholders will ensure success in this highly important role.
