Job Description

We are looking to grow our team of After Hour Coordinators!

We have various shifts available that would suit an experienced Hospital Supervisor or a competent and experienced nurse who is looking to take the next step.

Ideally you will be a registered nurse, division 1 with current experience in surgical and medical nursing with a focus and enthusiasm to be in management. You will be required to have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to take a leading role in the coordination of services within the hospital. The After Hours Coordinators are responsible for the operations of the Hospital whilst on shift.

We have various shifts available  AM, PM, Night Duty and Weekend shifts within a preference based rostering framework.

We are flexible in our approach and will consider candidates looking for full-time, part-time, permanent or casual positions.

The successful candidate must:

  • Be a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience within a senior nursing role
  • Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Have the ability to motivate yourself and others
  • Have the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills

The Bays Hospital is a 100 bed acute medical, surgical and obstetric private hospital located in Mornington by the beautiful Port Phillip Bay.
