We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Asset Accountant to join our Accounting team to cover maternity leave for up to 2 years.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with demonstrated experience in an asset management or financial reporting position. This is a hands on role that covers all aspects of asset accounting.
You will be a strong communicator with a team based approach, have a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and be someone who thrives on a challenge. You will have a tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field, and ideally be CA/CPA qualified.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of asset systems and information. Working closely with the asset management team, you will develop financial components of asset management systems and processes to assist council to achieve an advanced level of asset management maturity.
