Job Description

An opportunity has opened at Bass Coast Shire for an Asset Officer Roads to join our Asset Management team. The focus of the role is to coordinate the management of Council road assets (including bridges and major culverts). The role will also work with Service Managers and other senior council staff to ensure that Council’s planning for new, expanded and upgraded road assets is consistent with Asset Management Plans, the Long Term Financial Plan and sound asset management principles.

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of theRoad Management Act 2004, the ability to provide professional advice and build and maintain effective relationships as well as tertiary or TAFE qualifications or equivalent practical experience in road planning or infrastructure maintenance.
