Job Description

We are a family owned but world leading marine building business located in Mornington. We specialize in the manufacturing of commercial pilot boats. We look after our team and have lots of fun during the day whilst still working hard!

Due to our significant business growth, we are looking for passionate and energetic Boat Builders, Marine Mechanical Engineers, Fibreglass Laminators and a TIG Welder to join our team of 70 onsite employees.

About the roles:

To be considered for any of the positions, you will:

Experienced Boat Builders and Marine Mechanical Engineers

To be considered for these positions you will:

  • Hold trade qualifications in Boat BuildingĀ or Marine Mechanical Technology/Engineering
  • Have demonstrated experience working in boat building or marine mechanics
  • Demonstrate excellent hand tool skills and machinery experience
  • Have experience in working with fibreglass laminate

Fibreglass Laminators

To be considered for this position, you will:

  • Have demonstrated experience working with fibreglass laminate
  • Have experience in using hand tools
  • Have a basic understanding of using power tools

TIG Welder

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Trade qualifications and experience in TIG welding
  • Experience in using power tools
  • Mathematical & reading skills
  • The ability to interpret specifications, blueprints and work instructions
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision to plan and schedule workload and meet production needs
