Cozmic Sales is a leading sales agency in the pharmacy industry.  Representing a number of highly reputable clients, we aim to provide the highest level of service to all retailers and key pharmacy accounts alike.  Predominantly focusing in health and wellbeing, our portfolio extends across many brands and products in varying categories.

An exciting opportunity exists with the introduction of a new Business Development Manager to work within our highly motivated and supportive team.  This role will report directly to the General Manager and also work alongside the Business Director.  Your focus will be primarily on driving our key customer strategies through promotional planning, range reviews and encapsulating new opportunities to increase sales.  Your portfolio will include up to 12 state based pharmacy accounts and will be responsible for meeting set sales budgets and delivering on forecasted numbers.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

  • 3+ years sales experience in the pharmacy channel
  • Experience in dealing with key pharmacy accounts is advantageous
  • Be highly driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enjoy socializing and interacting with people being able to build strong relationships
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, particularly Powerpoint
  • Will enjoy the thrill of a sale
  • Interstate travel will be required monthly
  • Proven history for meeting set sales budgets

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities;

  • Manage a budget for co-op expenditure
  • Implement marketing strategies in line with the client’s needs
  • Assist and work with buyers in category review times
  • Present, detail and implement NPD launches
  • Complete promotional submissions and other forms required by customers
  • Build product presentations in line with customer requirements
  • Meet sales budgets set down by the business
  • A territory of 50 stores will also be included
