With a solid and loyal Honda Customer-base and a strong used vehicle operation, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic dealership Business Manager (Finance and Insurance) to join our Peninsula Honda (Vic) dealership in this rewarding role.

Located on the high-volume Nepean Highway, this is the ideal position for an  energetic and talented sales professional to help drive the Finance, Insurance, and Warranty services for this exciting business. Prior experience in this role is not essential, only the willingness to succeed is vital.

With the combined sales volume of an iconic Australian brand, high-volume used vehicle demand, enthusiastic and motivated staff, and the backing of one of Australia’s largest, privately-owned dealership groups, this substantial business continues to be a leading vehicle retailer on the Peninsula.

This role is ideal for an existing dealership Sales Consultant who wants to transition to a Business Manager position. Significant existing business and future growth opportunity are on offer to the person who makes a solid commitment to this position.

Essential responsibilities for this role include:

  • Meeting every Customer who purchases a new or used vehicle;
  • Offering vehicle finance and insurance products to all Customers and providing a thorough explanation of extended warranties;
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive financing programs;
  • Securing finance & insurance approval through lending institutions by assertively selling the merits of each Customer’s credit application, and processing these financing and leasing deals accurately;
  • Accurately producing, printing, and packaging the necessary documents for vehicle delivery and arranging Customer signatures, payouts, and insurance cover;
  • Researching registered interests on all vehicles being traded in by Customers or on vehicles being purchased by the Dealership;
  • Organizing and completing vehicle pay-outs for vehicles being traded in;
  • Liaising with Sales Consultants to ensure all vehicle deliveries are conducted in smooth and professional manner;
  • Preparing policy remittances/sales reports to the appropriate finance and insurance providers, the Dealer Principal, and Corporate Manager;
  • Completing the end-of-the-month summary to measure actual results against monthly objectives;
  • Understanding and complying with Local, State, and National government reporting requirements, ASIC, and GST & taxation obligations.Remuneration and benefits will be commensurate with experience and will include an attractive salary and a generous commission programme.
