The college prides itself on strong academic performance and sport specialism in an inspirational learning environment. Curriculum offerings are extensive where the formal curriculum program is supported by an extensive extra curricula program that includes a variety of sporting and outdoor education programs, well resourced instrumental music program, musical and theatrical productions as well as a dynamic arts program.
The College strength is in the provision of programs that cater for the broad ranges of student abilities and interests.
The Year 9 program, Broad Horizons provides a program that exposes students, in and out of a school setting, to opportunities to build self confidence and esteem through their engagement with the key elements of community, the environment and the city. This complements the Drum Corps which operates across the college.
The College provides increased opportunities as well as academic rigor for students in the senior years with the greater uptake of the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), increased access to Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs along with a broad selection of pathways in traditional VCE programs.
The College has outstanding facilities which include a heated indoor swimming pool, a performing arts centre, a three court indoor basketball complex on 26 acres of extensive and attractive well maintained grounds.
Tours of the college are held every Tuesday during the school term at 9:15am. Please phone the College on 5970 0200 to book in for a tour.
