Due to the continuous growth and expansion of PHS, we are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our Capital Projects Team.

Reporting to the Senior Carpenter your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively provide carpentry and general building works in conjunction with and as directed by the Senior Carpenter;
  • Implement and complete carpentry/general building work and projects within a timely manner;
  • Effectively assist in the maintenance of all work carried out at PHS to ensure a functional, pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and team members;
  • Report back to the Senior Carpenter on the completion, or delay, of any task that is guest related; and
    Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly (including the safe use of all power tools).

To be considered, you must possess the following:

  • Qualification in a Carpentry/Construction discipline (or similar);
  • Minimum of five years’ as a Carpenter (or similar) within a small to medium sized business;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Ability to work independently.

This is a permanent full-time position and may include some weekend work, including public holidays and night works. PHS provides excellent working conditions for all employees, including a competitive remuneration package and outstanding employee benefits.
