Sparrow Early Learning is currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate casual Educators for the South East region of Melbourne.  Must be available on short notice, 5 days per week.

Sparrow Group Management is the provider of Long Day Care early childhood education and care services.

Sparrow Group Management currently has Long Day Care Services in Queensland and Victoria with the intention to expand across other States and Territories.

This position:

  • Support the Lead Educator at the service is to lead the development and implementation of the educational program in their specified room in the service.
  • Work according to all Sparrow Group Managements policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the Service Manager and all other Educators to deliver high quality early childhood educational programs and professional services.
  • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and language.
  • Provide adequate supervision for the children and supporting colleagues in achieving the same.
  • Work collaboratively with all educators to meet the legislative and National Quality Standards.
  • Develop and maintain open and collaborative relationships with all families.
  • Respect the confidentiality of all information about a child, any concerns should firstly be discussed with the Authorised (Nominated) Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education

Diploma of Children’s Services completed under a nationally accredited framework

Current Senior First Aid Certificate, Asthma, Anaphylaxis
