Reporting to the CEO and attending Board meetings you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of this iconic community owned health service which operates across both the Private Acute and Aged care sectors. Annual turnover is circa $40m.
In addition to ensuring that all statutory reporting is prepared to the highest standard, the CFO is responsible for the preparation of financial forecasts, the development of strategic and operational business cases and the engagement of the wider Executive in the reporting, interpretation and understanding of Operating performance and Capital projects.
You will have day to day responsibility for IT, Procurement, Admissions and all non clinical administrative staff and be an excellent communicator and educator. As CFO you will demonstrate high proficiency in both Management and Financial Accounting and contribute across the full spectrum of activity from understanding transaction detail to high level strategic vision.
You will pursue and develop opportunities for partnering and establishing alliances with similar type organisations in business support areas where benefits of scale are achievable and have an aptitude to question and challenge status quo.
You will have a demonstrated track record in either Private Acute Health Services or the Aged Care Sector and hold or be eligible for CPA designation.
