We are seeking a part time receptionist for a well established busy practice. Our ideal candidate is a people person, happy to engage with all ages, from babies to the elderly with a professional demeanour and positive attitude. We are passionate about caring for our local community & our whole team reflects this commitment.
The role includes:
· answering the phone
· Greeting patients
· Processing eftpos & Healthpoint and cash transactions
· Scheduling appointments, receipting and money handling
· Balancing at the end of a session
· Supporting the practitioners
· Maintain office presentation
Our successful candidate will be able to work independently, as we only have one receptionist at the front desk at any time. Be a quick learner, friendly, organised and reliable, with an eye for detail. It is also important to be respectful and able to maintain patient confidentiality.
Flexibility regarding hours is preferred. It is expected that the successful applicant will be able to work til 7pm or 7.30pm at least one session a week, but no weekend hours are involved. We anticipate the role will be approximately 15 hours a week.
All wages are in line with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2010
