Benetas Corowa Court is undergoing significant change as it increases its capacity from 60 to 120 beds. The move to apartment style living and a focussed person-centred care philosophy will see Benetas providing contemporary care and living experiences designed to meet the increasing needs and expectations of residents and families.

The Position

Reporting to the Care Services Manager, in this senior Div 1 RN position you will be responsible for providing and coordinating expert clinical care to residents, in consultation with primary care teams.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the primary care team to deliver high quality, person centred care and service
  • Clinical case management involving families and allied health professionals
  • Documentation and reporting including resident care planning, incident investigation and monthly KPIs
  • Achieving clinical, quality and business outcome including ACFI KPIs
  • Instructing EENs regarding technical nursing interventions to achieve optimal clinical outcomes for residents within their scope of practice

Skills and experience:
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • A collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
  • Excellent judgement and advanced clinical decision making skills
  • Expertise in the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
  • High level of accountability for own work and motivated to undertake further education and professional development
  • Positive and client-focused behaviour
  • Division 1 AHPRA registration.
