The RACV Inverloch Resort is currently seeking a Conference & Events Sales Manager to lead their talented team. The resort is located 5km from the Inverloch Township, opposite the beach on the picturesque South Gippsland Coast and is set in a stunning natural environment boasting magnificent views of the Bass Coast and Anderson’s Inlet.
This is a full time permanent position that will lead and manage the Resort’s Conference & Events Sales team while working closely with other National and State C&E colleagues.
The primary purpose of this role will be to present and sell the Inverloch Resort’s state of the art conference and events facilities to MICE segments and the wedding market whilst developing & maintaining valuable client relationships, and maximising business growth opportunities.
Reporting directly to the Inverloch Resort Manager, your responsibilities will cover a number of areas including:
You must have proven experience working in a Senior Conference & Events Sales role and relationship marketing environment. It is highly desirable that you possess tertiary qualifications and/or industry accreditation within the Hospitality & Tourism field. A proven understanding of strategic planning and financial processes is essential. Strong communication skills & an outgoing personality are prerequisites and familiarity with Opera will be well regarded.
