Individualised Support Services is a leading not for profit organisation providing a wide range of disability support services across the Mornington Peninsula.   Our mission is to promote and develop our clients’ abilities to achieve their goals and live the life they want.

We are seeking a qualified person to undertake investigations into critical & reportable incidents, reportable conduct, complaints and grievances.  The incumbent will be responsible for completing all elements of a thorough investigation.  You will work in conjunction with the Executive Management team and provide key support and input into the organisations centralised incident and complaints management framework – Riskman.

To be considered for the role we need you to have:

  • A formal qualification – Certificate IV in Government Investigations or higher
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting complex and sensitive investigations, with  extensive knowledge and understanding of issues experienced by people with a disability, carers and families
  • High level of analytical ability and sound judgement
  • Ability to handle sensitive material, demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and operate with integrity and honesty
  • Must be able to analyse and review complex complaints within the context of legislative requirements and standards
  • Excellent  interpersonal skills (perceptive, diplomatic, ‘can do’ attitude) and the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Clear all states Police check
  • Hold a valid Victorian Driver  Licence
