We provide aged care services for more than 4,000 older Victorians each year within our 13 residential care facilities, respite services and extensive community care programs. The Position

These are newly created part time positions, weekend shifts only with option to pick up permanent HSW hours as well. Reporting to the Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising a small team and contributing to a positive workplace culture
  • Overseeing the preparation and serving of meals
  • Menu planning and stock ordering
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and compliance
  • Implementing services according to the Food Safety Program

Skills and Experience:

  • Current Food Handlers Certificates (HLTFS207C, HLTFS310C & HLTFS309C)
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Hospitality (preferred)
  • Experience in working within an aged care environment (preferred)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to remain calm while under pressure
  • Highly effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Computer literacy with the capacity to utilise programs
