We are seeking an experienced, Cook/Food Services Team Leader to join our team at mecwacare Park Hill Centre in Mornington, located in South East Victoria.

To be successful within this position you will possess:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of kitchen operations
  • Experience in oversight and coordination of kitchen staff in aged care
  • Proven organisation and management ability
  • Experience in the preparation and presentation of food for culturally diverse communities and large groups
  • Proven ability to guide, motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
  • Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, delegate and attend to multiple tasks
  • Experience in working to a set budget
  • Ability to plan nutritious meals within set time frames
  • Ability to provide a high standard of customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A Health and Community Services Food Safety Supervisor Statement of Attainment from a Registered Training Organisation

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in clinical care area.
