Job Description

Bentons Lodge is an 90-bed facility (currently expanding to 182 beds) situated in Mornington, on the edge of the Mornington Peninsula surrounded by beautiful scenery, beaches and wineries. Our aim is to provide the highest quality care for the people who live in our homes including the food we provide. Therefore our kitchen always provides a choice of dietitian-approved meals cooked onsite and served in our spacious and comfortable dining room.

Experience & Requirements

Your proven experience working in a team to produce high quality dishes will be important to your enjoyment in this role.  Do you have;

  • Passion for creating fresh cooked & nutritious dietitian-approved meals
  • Strong team work skills and willingness to lead
  • Customer service focus
  • Prior experience running a small kitchen will be highly regarded
  • Food Safety Certificate    HLTFSE001

This position includes:

  • You may need to work some weekends
  • Work with our Food Services Manager to continue to improve service
  • Ensuring the kitchen is clean & safe food handling practices are followed
  • Meals are presented/plated in a professional & appealing manner
