We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service professional to join our diverse and busy Customer Service team on permanent ongoing basis.
Our Customer Service Team is the first point of contact over the counter and the phone dealing with up to 600 calls per day.
Customer Service Officers are responsible for providing high quality service which exceeds the expectations of our internal and external customers. Routine enquiries, cash receipting, processing requests and referring matters to the correct Council Officer are all part of the daily job.
The successful candidate will need to be available to be rostered across any of our Council offices, including Wonthaggi, Inverloch, Grantville and Cowes.
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and well organised person with a “can do” attitude and has the capacity to work with deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication skills are essential in order to establish strong relationships within our organisation and with our community.
