Job Description

Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the major sub-regional public healthcare provider within the Bass Coast Shire, located close to Phillip Island and Wilsons Prom with beautiful beaches in between. Surfing, diving, fishing and all other forms of water sport and only 120 mins from Melbourne CBD.
BCH is an integrated health service providing a range of acute, sub-acute, ancillary medical, aged and ambulatory care services. Its 58 bed hospital is fully equipped to offer a broad range of on-site and visiting specialist medical, surgical and obstetric services including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, gynaecology, paediatrics, urology and rehabilitation.
Applications are sought from a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join a highly respected community Care team within Bass Coast Health.
This role aims to provide an initial and centralised point of contact for internal services, other service providers and the community wishing to make a referral to any of the services provided. The role also involves ensuring that timely and appropriate information is provided to all relevant stake holders.  Classification RN Grade 4A.
You will possess relevant registration and nursing experience, preferably within a community nursing team, excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.  You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of community care services, advanced computer skills and have a current Victorian Driver’s Licence.  Salary Packaging is available.
