An exciting opportunity is currently available for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our Communications, Media and Events team. You will provide administrative support to the Manager as well as delivering industry information, providing advice and assistance to community groups and organisations with a focus on statutory compliance, event marketing and media.
You will need an ability to manage your workload to a high standard, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and an ability to maintain both internal and external contacts and work collegiately with other team members, the community and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have proficient IT skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite of programs, as well as design and presentation skills. An ability to research/analyse and review administrative systems and implement continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge of community development practices, awareness of OH&S issues relevant to events combined with experience or a qualification in digital design and /or marketing will be highly regarded.
A current driver’s licence and a Working with Children Check are required for this role.
