Job Description

Your responsibilities include:

Leading and inspiring our small kitchen team in a hands-on manner, ensuring consistent product quality

Designing, costing and implementing innovative menus incorporating local products

Ordering & stock control

Maintaining food and wage costs in line with budget

Maintaining current knowledge on food trends and competitors

Setting, implementing and reviewing restaurant service standards to exceed guest expectations

Maintaining safety & hygiene standards of the kitchen & equipment

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Previous experience as a Executive Sous Chef or Executive Chef in a similar environment

Trade qualifications

A hands on management style with proven inspiring leadership qualities

Effective communication skills with hotel staff, management and suppliers

Computer literate with good administration skills

Innovation, enthusiasm and passion

Flexible work ethic
