Job Description

Hart Marine is one of Australia’s most respected builders of commercial pilot boats. A privately owned company, we pride ourselves on employing passionate and skilled craftsman.

We are a family owned but we are a world leading marine building business located in Mornington, just a short 10 minute drive from Frankston using Peninsula Link (Toll Free!). If you live a distance from Mornington, we may be able to assist with a small contribution towards your travel costs (petrol).

Due to significant growth and our continued success, we are seeking to add to our dynamic team.

We are looking for several experienced and qualified Boat Builders to join our team of 65 onsite employees. You will be a team player and be able to commit to a full-time position Monday to Friday with your hours being flexible but generally working 7am – 3.30pm.

To be considered for this position, you will:

  • Hold trade qualifications in boatbuilding or have demonstrated boatbuilding experience (hand laid fibreglass laminating experience would be great!)
  • Have a strong understanding of safe work practices and workplace health and safety
  • Demonstrate excellent hand tool skills and machinery experience
  • Communicate and work well within a team environment
  • Work well in fast paced environments with deadlines
  • Have a strong eye for detail with a focus on accuracy and quality first time
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Have experience working with fibreglass laminate
  • Be reliable, trustworthy and hardworking
  • Have an easy going nature, enthusiasm and sense of humour

An ASAP start date would be perfect, however we are willing to wait for the right person!
