We are seeking the services of an experienced chef to become part of the senior management team. We have an established business on the Mornington Peninsula that caters to a great group of loyal, regular locals year round with a huge summer peak over January and running through to April. We need a person who is happy to do things ‘our way’ to ensure the consistency of our operation but who is also interested in creating new dishes for our constantly changing specials. A person who can deal with the pressure of a hard fast service with out extensive drama and a pleasant attitude. Some one who is familiar with ordering procedures, stock levels, good kitchen hygiene and the training of junior staff.
This is a full time position with all of the associated full time benefits including 5 weeks annual leave and great at work benefits. We can consider a 6 month contract for those who work seasonally ie snow in the winter beach in the summer.
