The Role

An opportunity awaits an experienced Facility Manager seeking a people centric organisation, where passion for caring comes first, and an ethic for promoting independence throughout their homes is standard practice.

Due to an up and coming retirement, we are currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing / Facility Manager for their recently refurbished facility luxury care facility in Mornington.

The Candidate

We are seeking an experienced, energetic leader with exceptional skill & knowledge of operating a large care facility. Ideally you will possess a strong clinical background and a sound acumen in end-to-end business management.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations, business and financial & performance management of the facility. You will also ensure compliance to accreditation standards and relevant legislation. Supported by the long standing Clinical Manager and a high performing team you will ensure the best possible care standards to residents.

To be successful, you will have;

  • Current DIV 1 Nursing Registration with AHPRA
  • Recent experience in a similar role essential
  • Proven financial, HR and business management experience in the aged care sector
  • Sound knowledge of ACFI, aged care standards and accreditation
  • Ability to lead from the front and contribute to continuous quality improvement activities
  • Excellent leadership and communication skill
  • Most importantly, a real passion for aged care
