Open to candidates who enjoy being the “right arm” of a busy and successful author, this role will see you working closely with senior and highly experienced Family Law practitioners. This is a busy role, so it is essential that you have at least five (3) years prior experience in a Family Law support role.  You will need to know how files are run and what comes next in the process.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring all areas of your responsibilities are met within the specified timeframes. In addition, utilising your legal knowledge and expertise, you will be able to undertake ad hoc legal research, drafting Family Court documents and orders, formatting and amending Court documents and correspondence, collating briefs, extensive client contact and other general administrative duties when requested.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous legal experience (paralegal) – Family Law Background.
  • Advanced administrative and MS Suite skills
  • Corporate and professional presentation
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Empathetic, good positive energy, sense of humour, proactive work ethic
  • Highly developed IT/Systems expertise; FilePro legal management system
