Job Description

Walls Bridges Lawyers is a specialist family law and wills & estates legal practice based in Mornington committed to providing superior advice and support to clients.

We have an opportunity for the right individual to join our dynamic and growing team on a full time basis on a 15 month contract commencing mid to late May 2017.   We are looking for a solicitor to work in family law.  We are looking for the right fit for our team and are open to consider a junior solicitor or someone more senior.

The Role:

This role offers the opportunity to quickly develop your skills, working as part of a professional and highly capable team.

The core duties and responsibilities of the role include:

  • Drafting legal documents;
  • Correspondence to clients and other parties;
  • Court work;
  • Management of files;
  • Provision of advice to clients;
  • Regular communication with clients and other stakeholders;
  • Client relationship management; and
  • Marketing and business development activities.

Requirements

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years post admission experience;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal;
  • High level problem solving skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly;
  • A team player attitude; and
  • Strong time management and organisational skills together with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously.
