Based in Mornington, with travel to Melbourne, this is a newly created role created to strengthen the benefit of services to children, young people and their families. The program has been developed to support families, with children from 0-18 years old, in the home. This service provided families with structured training, implementation of problem solving strategies, support to identify community based resources and the review of the outcomes.
Please have a Bachelor Degree in Social Work/Psychology or equivalent that is recognised in Australia; Knowledge and skills in ensuring health and protection of children and young people, knowledge of the Child Protection and Out-Of-Home-Care system, standards and practices; In-depth knowledge and understanding of the principles and challenges of supporting vulnerable families; and an understanding of cultural contexts and the unique needs of Aboriginal children and young people.
The pay scale is $63,000 – $72,000 depending on experience. This is exclusive of super, and salary packaging is available.
You must hold a degree in Social Work/Psychology.
You must hold a current drivers licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Flexibility of working hours is required for this role.
