The privately-owned Tony White Group consists of 25 Dealerships, representing over 40 great brands, and is spread along the East coast of mainland Australia.

With a solid and loyal Honda Customer-base and a strong used vehicle business, we have an exciting opportunity for aFinance and Insurance Assistant to help with the growing opportunities within our Peninsula Honda dealership in Mornington (Vic).

We are looking for someone who is articulate, proactive, and self-driven. Our plan is for them to work closely with the Sales Managers to maximize opportunities and deliver a strong result in finance, insurance, and warranty, while gaining the skills, accreditation, and experience to develop into a professional Finance and Insurance Manager.

Previous automotive experience is preferred, although this is not essential. To be successful in this role you will need a general knowledge of Finance & Insurance services and products, and a strong administration background

Essential responsibilities for this role include:

  • Meeting every Customer who purchases a new or used vehicle;
  • Offering vehicle finance and insurance products to all Customers and providing a thorough explanation of extended warranties;
  • Accurately producing, printing, and packaging the necessary documents for vehicle delivery and arranging Customer signatures, payouts, and insurance cover;
  • Researching registered interests on all vehicles being traded in by Customers or on vehicles being purchased by the Dealership;
  • Liaising with Sales Consultants to ensure all vehicle deliveries are conducted in smooth and professional manner;
  • Understanding and complying with Local, State, and National government reporting requirements, ASIC, and GST & taxation obligations.

Remuneration and benefits will be commensurate with experience and will include an attractive salary and a generous commission programme.
