We are currently seeking an experienced Functions Sous Chef to join the team at a well known and established venue on the Mornington Peninsula.

As the Functions Sous Chef you will oversee the day to day running of functions while assisting in the main kitchen for high volume a la carte service.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive functions experience
  • Experience in creating and developing menus
  • Deliver a wide variety of functions menus
  • Strong knowledge of food costing and kitchen financials
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to excel in the culinary profession
  • Highly organised and consistent in your position
  • Open to support and working effectively within the team
  • Hands on leadership style
