Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated Midwifery Graduates to join our challenging and supportive Graduate Midwife Program commencing in February 2018.

The Bays Hospital in Mornington is offering a 12 month position to enable you to develop your professional midwifery skills and strive for the highest standard of practice and learning in our caring and community focussed, not for profit organisation. Supernumerary days will provide orientation to the area, assist you in applying theories and offer guidance in delivering quality maternity care utilising our midwifery educator and the clinical expertise of colleagues and dedicated preceptors.

We are the only private hospital in Victoria to be accredited by the World Health Organisation’s Baby Friendly Hospital (BFHI) and we are very excited to have moved into a brand new 10 bed Midwifery unit.  Throughout the year, you will gain experience in birthing suite, pre and post-natal care and special care nursery.

We are offering:

  • 52 week program, 30 hours/week (4 shifts) commencing in February 2018
  • Supernumerary time offered at commencement of program and in birthing suite
