About Our Client
Our client is a world leading global service provider to a diverse range of industries and business sectors. They are seeking a highly experienced Head Chef to join their team on the Mornington Peninsula.

About the Role

As the Head Chef you will be responsible for managing the back of house staff and operations for this large commercial kitchen.  You will have the ability to lead, coach, support, motivate and develop staff, and ensure that they have all tools and information they need. On a day to day basis you will be in charge of managing large scale operations, people, administration and the financial aspects of the business. You will ensure that a culture of operational excellence and exceptional food standards are evident across all aspects of this role.

About You!

You will be a qualified Head Chef with a minimum of 3 years experience managing a large commercial kitchen and managing the production and delivery of a variety of food services. You will be a professional, enthusiastic and organised team leader that thrives on attention to detail and multitasking, with a strong focus on both administration and operations. On a day-to-day basis you will be required to run the diverse kitchen, including, ordering, rostering, personnel management and training, stock take, menu creation, along with meeting strict company compliance. You will possess a strong understanding of HACCP and WH&S and possess the ability to apply this to your day-to-day working environment.
You must possess an Australian recognised qualification in Commercial Cookery, and Level 3 Certification in HACCP and WHS
