Reporting to the General Manager and working with members of the General Committee, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the clubhouse, including the management of our food and beverage operation, external functions, provision of member services and the general use of club facilities. This full time position, will involve working with the General Manager and General Committee to develop strategic and operational plans for the new clubhouse with a particular emphasis on the in-house food and beverage arrangements as well as the selling and delivery of external functions. Having responsibility and accountability for every aspect of the club’s food and beverage offering, the successful candidate will maintain a high level of visibility, guide, lead and inspire a well-structured team of front of house staff.
To be successful in this position you are likely to possess proven hospitality management experience. With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you will have an ability to interact and manage a variety of stakeholder relationships. Responsible for financial forecasting for the provision of member services including food and beverage you will have a proven track record at managing and adhering to budgets. Experience in a startup operation or facility would be an advantage. The role requires advanced IT skills.
Given the unique nature of this industry, working outside of office hours will be required. The Clubhouse is operational 7 days a week during our summer period however subject to member demand outside of this time.
