AMI Group is the market leader in a wide range of specialised marine equipment across the recreational and commercial marine industry throughout Australia and SE Asia, with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Singapore and Vietnam.

We are seeking a motivated person with a real interest in the marine industry, to join our dynamic team as a full time Internal Sales / Store Person at our Victorian Branch located in Somerville.

Daily Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • General telephone and counter sales
  • Quote, order and general data entry
  • Proactive sales calls including customer follow up.
  • Assist with receiving, despatch and stock monitoring
  • Assist with servicing of marine based safety equipment
  • Attend local boat and caravan/RV shows

Required attributes:

  • Marine industry knowledge/experience
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a small team environment
  • Organised and ability to multitask
  • Motivated, positive attitude and a real want to achieve
  • Willingness to learn a diverse range of marine, marine safety and RV products and services
  • Computer literate
  • Current Victorian driver’s license
  • Forklift license preferred, but not essential
