At Craigcare we create a partnership with residents and relatives to assist us in providing quality care, comfort and security 24 hours a day!

We currently have an exciting opportunity for casual and part-time experienced Kitchen Hands to join our dedicated Hotel Services Teams at our Pascoe Vale and Mornington facility.

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Basic food preparation,
  • Serving food and beverages in accordance with the Food Safety Program (FSP),
  • Washing dishes and cleaning in accordance with the FSP, and
  • Contributing to a clean, safe working environment to ensure safety of resident, visitors and other staff, volunteers and self.

    The successful applicants must posses the following:

  • Previous experience in Hotel Services (within Kitchen, Cleaning or Laundry) within an Aged Care Environment (essential),
  • Food Handling Certificate,
  • Knowledge of Chemical Safety, OH&S and Infection Control,
  • Be available to work across a 7 day roster, varying AM & PM shifts,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Strong organisational skills,
  • Ability to work in a team environment and competently as an individual,
  • Have sound knowledge of Food Safety, and
  • Excellent time management skills.

The successful applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance (updated within 3 years).
