PIER Marketing is a rapidly expanding boutique marketing agency based in picture postcard Mornington. We’re a team of unashamedly enthusiastic communication specialists who love what we do. We work alongside our clients as their marketing teams to make magic happen and do the unexpected. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Graphic Designer to join our informal yet professional team.
The role works alongside our client account team to deliver marketing collateral with bragging rights. This role will allow you to exercise your design skills whilst managing all aspects of studio output. Responsibilities include creating visual content to PIER and PIER’s clients / receiving briefs / supplier liaison and management / print process management / attending client and team meetings / where necessary assisting team in execution of campaigns and projects + much, much more!
We’re after a highly motivated team player with the ability to visually bring to life our strategies, campaigns and concepts. You’re a natural, born creative who loves nothing more than being let loose on a brief. With an abundance of fresh ideas, a passion for design trends and a strategic approach, you pride yourself in producing work that resonates. You know the questions to ask in a brief to ensure you’re on the same page as your team and clients. You embrace a brainstorm and the opportunity to work collaboratively within a team and then welcome feedback throughout the design process. ‘It can be done’ is your daily mantra. It goes without saying (although we just did) that you have a crazy eye for detail and are obsessive about producing work of the highest standard. Alongside your creative capabilities, you’ll be confident communicator and enjoy presenting your work to both colleagues and clients. You know the ins and outs of a production process and come armed with ideas on how to tighten up the process for agency and clients alike.
You’ll have proven graphic design credentials and a portfolio you’re only too happy to share. Ideally, you’ll have agency experience so you’ll be well versed in juggling numerous projects, working at a fast pace and managing multiple stakeholders. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop will be your home from home. Video experience is not essential but would be a nice to have.
