Do you have experience in a Legal Practice?

A wonderful Full Time opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant/ Paralegal to join a law firm based on the Mornington Peninsula/Westernport Bay  area.

You will be supporting the Principal of the Practice in a role that will provide you with plenty of involvement and client contact.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing all incoming calls for the Principal
  • Liaising with clients, barristers, other lawyers by phone and correspondence
  • Diary management
  • Typing own correspondence and dictating work for others to type
  • File management
  • Drafting Court documents
  • Filing documents at Court electronically
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Work both autonomously and in a team environment

The successful candidate needs to be good at communicating and working with clients, have a good general overall grounding in all areas of Law.
