We provide aged care services for more than 4,000 older Victorians each year within our 13 residential care facilities, respite services and extensive community care programs. The Position
Benetas Corowa Court is undergoing significant change as it increases its capacity from 60 to 120 beds. The move to apartment style living and a person-centred care philosophy will see Benetas providing contemporary care and living experiences designed to meet the increasing needs and expectations of residents and families.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to develop and lead the lifestyle and leisure program for our residents, which caters to their specific needs and interests while engaging the external community.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing strong working relationships with staff, volunteers, residents and families
  • Bring new ideas to the development of a broad range of activities and events involving local community organisations
  • Guide the lifestyle assistants in care plan documentation and ensure the successful delivery of programs

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Qualification in Lifestyle and Leisure
  • Understanding of person-centred care philosophy
  • Experience in coordinating and providing recreational and social programs in aged care facilities or similar settings
  • Empathy and ability to build strong connections with residents and their loved ones
  • Strong coordination and organisation skills, with effective networking skills
  • Familiar with aged care standards

Candidates must have valid working rights and be willing to undergo a police clearance. A  valid and full drivers licence is also required.
