Are you a looking for a role on the Mornington Peninsula that enables you to take your retail, customer service and people skills to the next level? Serving the community for over 100 years, Mornington’s iconic Grand Hotel is among the Peninsula’s busiest venues. We currently seek a dynamic and forward thinking Assistant Liquor Store Manager to join our Store Manager in managing the day to day operations of our Nepean Highway Cellars store at 1000 Nepean Highway. We are looking for an individual that understands the importance of a cohesive work dynamic. You will have the ability to work both as part of the team, as well as having proven experience in managing people collaboratively and supportively. Equally important are your exceptional customer service skills and ability and confidence to create, implement and drive new ideas in conjunction with the Liquor Store Manager. The role requires demonstrable intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Swiftpos will be considered an advantage. If you are willing to think outside the box, so are we! While experience in a similar environment would be advantageous, so too are candidates with the right skills and a willingness to translate and learn within a new retail aspect. This full time role is offered over a seven day roster and includes one weekend day and some evening work.
