About the role
Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG’s , BP and other vital signs. We expect you to assist our doctors and nurses in treating patients and contribute to the business growth and maintenance. A Pathology Collector with previous experience would be preferred. Skills and experience
Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method
Collection of blood and other samples from patients
Experience in ECG’s and taking vital signs
Processing of Pathology Specimens
Ability to work in a team environment
Clerical duties and Process paperwork
Ability to communicate with the team.
Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
Ability to demonstrate good organisational and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Basic computer skills
Comply with Work Health and Safety
Certificate III in Pathology Collection – Essential
