An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced, passionate and values focused People & Culture Manager to lead a dynamic and committed team in all strategic and operational HR related activities.

Reporting to the General Manager, and with a strong focus on company culture and values, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure all workforce strategies, projects and operations are in line with business objectives for current operations and future growth. In addition, you will have responsibility for managing a team to deliver on the following:

  • All recruitment, selection and induction activities for all new employees
  • All professional development and compliance training programs and activities
  • All remuneration processes, including annual salary reviews and incentive payments
  • The performance review process and all disciplinary activities
  • Participating in strategic project work as directed by the owners

To be considered for this exciting career opportunity, you must possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a human resources discipline.
  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) as a HR Manager within a medium sized business.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage employees.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of all employment related legislation, including strong interpretation of the Fair Work Act 2009.
  • Strong understanding of industrial relations, including experience in managing employee performance and discipline matters.
  • Ability to coach and mentor managers on all people related issues.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable workforce planning strategies.
