Job Description

Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care Beleura Private Hospital is a 157 bed facility providing a broad range of services. Surgical services include orthopaedic, urology, general surgery, plastics, gynaecology, ophthalmology. Beleura Private Hospital currently has four operating theatres with potential for future expansion.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Perioperative Services Manager to lead the Perioperative team.

You will work closely with the executive team to provide strategic direction, excellent patient care and foster and maintain important relationships with our Visiting Medical Officers.

This position is a key leadership and management role within Beleura Private Hospital and is accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources within Perioperative Services.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA
  • Extensive clinical and professional knowledge and experience in a perioperative environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to effectively plan and manage financial and human resources
  • Ability to plan develop, implement and evaluate a Quality program
  • Sound computer skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • Qualifications in perioperative or critical care
  • Holding or working towards tertiary management qualification.
