Our client is a private practice with an already sterling reputation in the local areas, providing a wide range of services to private patients. They have modern premises with a private consultation and treatment rooms, Pilates Studio and modern equipment to enable them to provide a wide range of services from Pilates groups, right through to one on one treatment, sports physiotherapy and injury rehabilitation as well as other general health and well-being services such as Yoga. The clinic is independently owned and the owner is a practicing physiotherapist herself. She is well respected in the community and is looking for someone to grow with the business.
About the Job
Due to continued growth we are looking for a permanent full time physiotherapist, or someone available to help cover maternity leave early in the new year for a period of up to 9 months.
As the company continues to grow, so does the number of patients who wish to be seen. Referrals form current patients as well as the on-going growth of the business as a whole means there is currently an opportunity for an experienced or motivated junior physiotherapist to join them on a full time basis, working up to 6 days per week. Exact hours and days are flexible and can be discussed on a case by case basis and can involve early starts and early finishes.
There will also be opportunities to expand your skills and contribute towards the delivery of other therapies such as Pilates and the use of reformers and trapeze tables however previous experience in these areas will be highly regarded. There is also the chance to be involved in some of the other areas of service such as private sports physiotherapy, women’s health and rehabilitation. The patient base is very large and allows the successful applicant to grow a caseload specific with their clinical preference and areas of interest.
The clinic has an established team of long service staff of all ages. They are a friendly and supportive team, which means there will be real opportunity for one to one mentoring, professional development, flexibility and the chance to be part of a real local success story. Formal Professional Development is also conducted on site and the general upskilling of staff is actively encouraged.
