A major part of their business is in the Vocational Education and Training sector and this new opportunity is to head up an existing significant operation providing technical training and competency assessment for a large number of trainees
This role is a strategic leadership position with an inherent responsibility to manage and influence reform and is responsible for the provision of leadership, oversight and strategic management of all contracted services including relationship management with key stakeholders.
Responding to both a General Manager and Executive Steering Committee you will be accountable for the professionalism and reform of a dispersed workforce which can be exercised through the implementation of numerous initiatives. They include but not limited to:
Ideally you will have experienced managing a large department, have a successful track record in performance based contracting and managed a multidiscipline competency based training program.
Your proven leadership skills coupled with an ability to drive cultural change and innovation in a large, geographically dispersed training contract is paramount.
This position requires a motivated self-starter with a strong and successful track record in corporate and program management with an ability to communicate and influence openly at all levels.
