Job Description

Frankston Counselling & Psychology is a well established psychology practice located at the gateway of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula providing excellent therapy results for adults, adolescents, children and couples for over 30 years.

We are looking for a psychologist to work across a broad range of client presentations including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction, trauma, self-esteem and relationship concerns.

Clinical experience working with adults and adolescents will be highly regarded however prior private practice is not necessary.

You will enjoy experiencing the excellent growth of our ‘stand alone’, non bulk-billing practice with a large referral base from General Practitioners along the Mornington Peninsula; working across a range of presentations and age groups. You will receive full administration support and we can provide supervision (peer group and/or inidvidual supervision) to accelerate your growth as a clinician.

Clinical Psychologist / Psychologist, contract position, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.

Starting at 1-2 days per week with the view to increase hours. Days and hours are flexible and negotiable.

You have a compassionate and enthusiastic approach and have a genuine desire to  improve your client’s emotional well-being;You will value building strong therapeutic relationships with your clients and value developing relationships with referrers;You will have registration with AHPRA and ability to register with Medicare;Experience working with adults and adolescents providing evidence-based treatments;You have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.


Experience working in clinical settings;Experience working with trauma;Workcover and TAC approved;Interest or experience with EMDR.
