The organisation is going through a considerable amount of change and is consequently investing significant time and resources into the review and adaptation of its service lines, employee base and organisational structure. As a consequence an opportunity exist for a senior remuneration and benefits specialist to undertake a major review of the current remuneration and benefits structures throughout the organisation.

The assignment

  • To conduct an immediate analysis on shape, size, and remuneration of current state ‘executive’ population and extended ‘senior’ level group of employees – potentially 300 employees.
  • Contrast current state to previous
  • Conduct analysis of shape / size of remuneration for full workforce.
  • Forecast future state based on current assumptions – note this could be multiple scenarios based on strategic choices under consideration.
  • Identify and recommend a focussed and fit-for-purpose remuneration strategy.
  • Capture and articulate current benefits as inputs into future planned work on total reward.
  • Build the total remuneration strategy and framework.
  • Develop a recommended future state approach, based on levels of work, which is based on principles of best fit, simplicity, and avoids driving unintended consequences when applied to the organisation
  • Potential ongoing work in the Remunerations area.

Tertiary qualified, the successful candidate will be a seasoned remunerations and benefits specialist who can demonstrate a strong tract record of similar work in large organisations. You will have been previously engaged as a Remunerations and Benefits specialist and your knowledge and experience will reflect your strategic understanding of of how the function interrelates with corporate direction, organisational goals and strategic objectives. The breath of your experience will provide you with the confidence to consult and make confident recommendations. With strong communication skills, your ability to build immediate rapport and instil an immediate sense of trust and credibility will be impressive.
