Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager to manage our busy Piazza café. The Piazza runs 7 days a week for lunch.

As Manager of the Piazza you will be responsible for the operational and financial outcomes of the venue.  You will be responsible for

  • Ensuring customer service is maintained at the highest level
  • Budgeting and Sales forecasting
  • Rostering, recruitment and labour management
  • Events, functions and experiences management
  • Staff training
  • Working closely with Head Chef and Food & Beverage Manager

Our Piazza is an exciting venue which experiences exceptionally busy periods. The menu is influenced by what is happening in our significant kitchen gardens and the service prompt, friendly and efficient. Naturally, wine is a big focus.

A lot of our experiences including our popular Picnics are serviced from the Piazza which requires constant co-ordination and refining. Montalto has an exciting calendar of annual events that is only growing. Functions are becoming increasingly busier.

We are seeking a motivated individual that enjoys working in a fast paced, casual and professional environment. Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in food & wine with some interest in furthering their knowledge and training. This position requires a friendly personality but also someone with serious management skills.
