  • Lead a team of excellent staff of this award winning hatted restaurant
  • Oversee all facets of front of house operations in this hands on role

This exceptional opportunity has arisen at one of Mornington’s most revered and respected wineries. The venue is well known for its hatted restaurant, iconic cellar door and exclusively reserved accommodation and as Restaurant Manager, it will be your role to lead all of them.

The role of Restaurant Manager will involve building a team of strong, professional staff and leading them from the front to provide the highest quality service. You will be responsible for maintaining the excellent venue standards as well as controlling costs and ensuring high moral.

To be successful in the role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience managing high level venues
  • Ability to build and train a team of great staff
  • Strong control of wages, beverage COGs and budgets
  • Background working with accommodation a plus
  • Knowledge of wine and cuisine
  • Hands on, lead from the front attitude
