The Position
Benetas Corowa Court is undergoing significant change as it increases its capacity from 60 to 120 beds. The move to apartment style living and a focussed person-centred care philosophy will see Benetas providing contemporary care and living experiences designed to meet the increasing needs and expectations of residents and families.

Reporting to the Residential Services Manager, in this senior Div 1 RN position your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overall management of the site after hours, including escalation of issues, roster management and site safety
  • Evening shifts only and must be able to work weekends
  • Coordinating and supporting the primary care team to deliver high quality, person-centred care and service
  • Provision of expert clinical care
  • Documentation and reporting including resident care planning, incident investigation and monthly KPIs
  • Achieving clinical, quality and business outcomes including ACFI KPIs
  • Instructing EENs regarding technical nursing interventions to achieve optimal clinical outcomes for residents within their scope of practice.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • A collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
  • Excellent judgement and advanced clinical decision making skills
  • Expertise in the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
  • High level of accountability for own work and motivated to undertake further education and professional development
  • Positive and client-focused behaviour
  • Division 1 AHPRA registration.
